Remember mailing off film to be developed? No? Well, you’d take an envelope..mail it off to a color lab (Connecticut later had Mystic Labs)…but growing up, I was forced to learn the concept of patience waiting for these manilla envelopes with the chubby blonde mocking me. My parents would always let me shoot five or six photos at the end of a roll, and I’d ask every day "did they come did they come?". I still think the postcard printing on the back is a brilliant, underused idea!

A print I got back from the lab (clark color). Looks like the negative got kinked and the print came out with this streak. This is the first mess up from them out of 10 rolls so I’m not worried yet. I like how this turned out anyway 🙂
